If you’re looking for a quick fall getaway from NYC, Camp Greenwood in Woodford, Vermont, is a peaceful spot surrounded by forest, lakes, and quiet trails. It’s about a 4-hour drive from the city; perfect for a long weekend to unplug, eat well, and enjoy the colors of fall. We loved how quiet and clean the campground was, and you can even rent canoes right on site for a calm paddle across the lake.
